Clarence was my faithful working partner, both at Fort Polk in 67-68, and at Cam Ranh Bay in 69. He retired in South Carolina. I was in touch with him a few years ago, but lost the address and phone number. I don't find him in the Gold Books for the last four years. Would like to re-connect, if he is still alive (no guarantees on that, since he is about my age).
