Wish Gus well and a quick recovery / acclimation with his new appendage! I’m sure he’ll “be up and running” in no time. Gus, Sam Blackstone, and Mike Hiser taught me everything I needed to know about drug investigations and it served me well throughout my CID career. Served with Gus in Panama back in 88/89.

Gus has had his leg amputated at the left knee. For those of you who know Gus know what a great investigator he was. Gus is in great spirits and is taking everything in stride. He says he will be up an around in no time and is looking forward to his new artificial leg and foot. He's even thinking of becoming a pirate with a parrot
