Old timers and Lab personnel will remember Roy from his days as a Latent Print Examiner. The good news is that various scans are negative for spread. The bad news is that, on Tuesday, 26 January, he will have his right kidney removed because of a "large mass" which could be malignant. It seems there's no way to know without doing the surgery.
