On 15 Sept 2013 Bob Moody sent me a message that he just got off the phone with Harry. Harry came home 11 Sept 2013. His speech is a bit slurred but sounding much better than he did earlier. He is able to walk with the assistance of a walker. Harry has been hospitalized and/or
in rehabilitation since December 2012. His home number is unlisted, but you may send cards or
notes of encouragement to him at the address listed on page 43 of the 2013 Gold Book.

On 18 July 2013, I received a personal E Mail from Retired CID S/A Robert Moody that he was in receipt of information that subsequent to Harry Kinsella's reported illness in June 2012, from questionable causes, that Harry fell at his residence in December 2012 suffering a severe penetrating wound to his hip from a bed post which broke and splintered during his fall at which time he was rendered unconscious. He was in a coma until April 2013. I have known Harry since his formative years in CID. After numerous attempts, I was able to reach Harry on 20 July 2013. He was able to explain that the apparent reason for the fall in his home in December 2012 was caused by sudden cardiac arrest which rendered him unconscious, and was hospitalized (in a coma) until April 2013. Upon awakening, he was able to discern from family and physicians what had happened to him. He could not stand or walk. Harry is currently in a rehabilitation facility. He seems to have good memory recall and advised that he would be in medical/physical rehabilitation for several more weeks. His prognosis is thought to be good. Due to his condition and treatment regimen Harry prefers not to receive calls at this time. Please send cards or notes of encouragement to Harry at the address listed on page 43 of the current (2013) Gold Book. Harry asked that we all remember him and his family in our prayers. Spoke with Harry about 1400 Friday. Doctors told him he does not have pneumonia or congestive heart failure but some form of COPD and will need oxygen and additional medication. Hopes to be relesed either later Friday or Saturday. Seems to be in good spirits, given the situation. Looks forward to the Louisville AGM with Nancy.

Harry is in the hospital with pneumonia. He's not doing very well with that. He can be reached with words of encouragement at 321-434-9430 Ext 331. (Thanks to Rob Moody)
