CW3 Barney Bishop was my Operations Officer during 1967 - 1968 at Fort Sam Houston. Barney was a true professional, and a good man that I respected and admired.

The following information thanks to Wayne McNeely: "With sadness, I wanted to let all of you know that I received word this morning about 9:AM of the death of Barney Bishop. I understand that he was in a local nursing home here in San Antonio and had medical difficulties following recent hip surgery. I understand that he had some infection following the surgery. He passed away sometime last night. At this time no funeral arrangements have been made. As soon as I learn more (if any of you learn of them), please let me know. Please pass on this information to all of your CID contacts that may have known Barney."
