Millie Davis was an excellent source of information on how to stay out of trouble. She was invaluable to me when I was a new CID Operations Officer. She wasn't afraid to tell me when I wasn't doing something correctly and as a result, I learned a lot from her.

Mrs. Davis, Secretary/Administrative Assistant for the 86th MP Det(CI) and Det A, 3d MP CI Grp, Ft Benning, GA from 1953 into the 1970's, whose sage advice kept many a CO and Opns Officer out of trouble, died 18 July 2007 at age 80. She is survived by her daughter Joy Davis. Funeral: 10 AM,July 20 at McMullen Funeral home. Burial 2PM CST, 20 July, at Oak Hill Cemetary, Jasper, AL..
