Eleanor "Shelly" Michele Busky
June 1, 1966 - September 12, 2021
Eleanor (Shelly) Michele Busky, loving wife to Michael A. Busky, passed away at the age of 55 on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Shelly was born June 1, 1966 in Baltimore, MD to Joseph and Cora Mae Linzey. Both her parents and her sister, Tammy Houtz, preceded Shelly in death.
Shelly was born and raised in Dundalk, MD and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore. Shelly furthered her education at the University of Baltimore and received her Master of Arts in Legal and Ethical Studies. Shelly then utilized her educational knowledge and committed herself to a successful career in the federal government. She began her federal career with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command; then transferred to the DOD, Office of the Inspector General; and finally completed her federal career at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Shelly loved to travel the world visiting friends. She was an avid reader, loved cooking shows, and enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband Mike and their dog and two cats. Shelly loved football but specifically, she was an ardent Baltimore Ravens fan.
Shelly is survived by Mike; her stepchildren and nephews, Jeremy Houtz and Zach Houtz.
Anyone who knew Shelly would say she left a beacon of light in the lives she touched. Her husband Mike, family, and friends will miss Shelly.
