Francis Emile "Frank" Latendresse

December 29, 1931 – April 20, 2022

Francis Emile “Frank” Latendresse, 90, of Radcliff, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin.

Frank completed CID agent training (Criminal Investigation Class 5 in 1971) and his CID assignments included Yongsan, Korea. Pre-CID duty included service as an MP Operations SGT in Germany at Crailshiem.

He retired, with 26 years, as a Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Army. Frank also served in Korea and Vietnam. CW3 Latendresse was awarded a Purple Heart, for the wounds he received in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Latendresse.

He is survived by his wife, Elfriede Maria Latendresse; two sons, Raymond (Jenny) Latendresse and Richard Latendresse; one daughter, Linda (Greg) Thompson; three grandchildren, Amanda (Tony) Garcia, Erika Latendresse and Emily Latendresse; and four great grandchildren, Jordan Garcia, Connor Garcia, Lucie Garcia and Delilah Garcia.

A private military service and burial will be at North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The family requests no flowers.
