William Joseph Scheve, Jr.



June 5, 1932 – July 12, 2003

William J. Scheve, Jr., 71, a resident of Palm Harbor, Florida, entered into rest on July 12, 2003.

Born on June 5, 1932, in New York City, NY, he entered the US Army on May 1, 1964, and served as a Special Agent with the US Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) in both Korea and Vietnam. He retired from the US Army in July 1976 after achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer-4.

William was survived by his wife, Barbara, his sons Robert Scheve and William J. Scheve, III and his daughter, Laurel Betros.

William was buried on May 24, 2004, in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia (Sec 5-LL, Row 17, Site 2).
