H. Louis Nash

April 20, 1916 - January 6, 2013

H. Louis Nash passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the age of 96. He was born in Muskegon, Mi on April 20, 1916, to Claude and Cherie Nash of East Lansing.

Louis always lived in Michigan, but in several different cities, living most of his life in Jackson. He was a graduate of East Lansing High School, attended Lansing Business University, and graduated from Western Michigan University.

Louis served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in England, N. Ireland, and France. He proudly served in the Army Criminal Investigation Division as an Agent.

Lou started a business in Jackson in 1947 forming the H.L. Nash Co and Nash Systems Co. where he worked until he was 92. He was active in Lions Club, Rotary Club, The Town Club, the Jackson Country Club, and the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his daughter Michaelyn (Tom) Nicholls. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Scott Nicholls of Atlanta, and Andy (Phuong) Nicholls of Seattle, one great grandson, Owen of Seattle, and his brother Bruce Nash of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy, his second wife Mary, his son David Louis, and one beloved grandson Mark Louis Nicholls.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Arbor Woods Assisted Living and Allegiance Hospice for their loving care.
