Donald L. Straass



January 1, 1928 - August 26, 2021

Donald L. Straass passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 93. He is survived by Ellen, his loving wife and soul mate of 69 years.

He loved his family - his daughter who was his Caregiver, his son and daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great-granddaughter, his Sunshine and his loving nieces and nephew and their families.

He retired as a CW3 in 1973 from the US Army CID, after 28 years of Honorable service. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. After his military service, he was employed with the State of Arizona for 19 years as an OSI Investigations Supervisor.

He enjoyed traveling and cruising - often taking his grandchildren on the vacations.

We miss and love him. We take comfort in knowing that he is free of pain and resting in the arms of our Lord. Burial is to be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
