Thomas C. "Tom" Butscher

July 28, 1934 - October 10, 2012

Thomas C. "Tom" Butscher, 79, of New Haven CT, died October 10, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Butscher was born in Beloit, MN, a son of the late Clements Thomas and Florence Childs Butscher.

He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, having served for 22 years, retiring as a CW2. Mr. Butscher was a CID Agent. After retiring, he helped to establish 3M Korea. He was a top salesman for Exit Grand Strand Realty. Mr. Butscher was an avid golfer and a huge fan of the Washington Redskins. He loved his family.

Surviving are: his wife, Martha D. Butscher of Myrtle Beach, SC; one son, Jeffrey Butscher of Huntington Beach, CA; one daughter, Teresa White (Wayne) of Fredericksburg, VA; two stepsons, Timothy Van Etten of Burlington, NC and Trevor Van Etten (Lyn) of Charleston, SC; one stepdaughter, Jenny Van Etten of Myrtle Beach, SC; Six grandchildren, Bridgette Butscher, Niyah White, Ameila Brorson, Anya Van Etten, and Ellie Van Etten; and one grandson, EthanVan Etten.

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC.
