Michael E. Bayman
Michael E. Bayman, 68, of St. Marys OH, died on Feb. 3, 2021 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born June 16, 1952, in St. Marys, the son of George and Lucille (Cowhick) Bayman.
He married Elizabeth Llorca on Nov. 16, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada; she survives at the residence. He is also survived by his children: Jeremiah Bayman of Lima and Rebecca Bayman of Yellow Springs; granddaughter Lucy DeLinis and siblings Patrick (Carla) Bayman of New Knoxville, Roberta (Lewis) Schoenherr of Utah and Diane (Cloyd) Zimmerman of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings John Bayman, Jack Bayman, James Bayman and Gary Bayman.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He served in the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division. He retired form Ametek Corp. in Wapakoneta, but his life's work was preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a missionary and traveled around the world, preaching and teaching. He helped establish the Shekinah Temple in St. Marys.
Funeral rites were held at at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Rev. Judy Baker and Rev. Peter Doseck, officiants. Burial, with military honors, was at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
