I served with CPT Piersall (Grady) when he was Company Commander of 2d MP Company, 2nd ID in Korea 1967. He was a fun guy to be around and an outstanding commander. We didn't cross paths again in our careers, but I thought of him often. RIP, Grady.

Grady served at CID HQs in the 1970s when he was a Major. He then served as the PM at Ft Lewis Washington before retiring to live in Oregon. He passed away this morning from a heart problem complicated by cancer.
