      Coy Dale Coffman, Jr.

Coy Dale Coffman, Jr., age 65, of Wake Village, Texas, passed away on April 26, 2020.

Mr. Coffman was born on July 30, 1954, in Biloxi, Mississippi to Coy Dale Coffman, Sr. and Barbara Mae Dugan.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Coy served in the US Army Military Police at Ft. Riley, Kansas, he was a US Army CID Special Agent in various locations including Red River Army Depot, investigated War crimes in Desert Storm, Security Detail for various Senators and military officials including Senator Bob Dole and General Norman Shwarzkopf; he received his associate's degree from Northeastern Oklahoma College and received his Bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University; he was a Tulsa Police officer, Criminal Justice Professor at Eastern Oklahoma State College, and he worked as a correctional officer in the Telford Unit in New Boston. He was a loving husband, father, granddad, and brother. Mr. Coffman served his Lord, family, and his country.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Coffman, of Wake Village, Texas; a son, Coy Dale Coffman, III of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two stepchildren, Phillip Kesslar of Longview, Texas and Karen Renae Willis of Clairemore, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Coy Dale Coffman, IV, Margarite Sue Coffman; five siblings, Scott Coffman of Vinita, Oklahoma, Neil Coffman of Afton, Oklahoma, Ray Coffman of Grove, Oklahoma, Sheri Tipton of Grove, Oklahoma, and Bobby Coffman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the God-Grandfather of MaKayla Shani King.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
