George Luketic - RIP
RIP George. Met while assigned to HQ CIDC. Had many conversations around the coffee pot.
George Peter Luketic
SGM George Peter Luketic, US Army (Ret), was born March 23, 1932 in McKeesport, PA and passed away on September 3, 2019 at 87 years of age, in San Antonio, TX.
"Duty, Honor, Country, Family" SGM Luketic proudly served his country for 30 years and was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. He had an outstanding career as a Special Agent in the US Army Criminal Investigation Command. Recipient of the Army Commendation Medal. In addition to service in the Army, his career also included working for the US Postal Service and as an investigator for USAA.
Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend. Throughout his life, George had many hobbies and pastimes; he loved music and all the great singers; he was a talented baseball player, horseshoe pitcher, bowler, pool, poker and chess player. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Adeline and son, Roy. He is survived by his children: Mark Luketic (Bettina) of Boerne, TX; Barbara Soucia (Rick) of Sugar Hill, GA; Georgine Lindseth (Greg) of Inver Grove Heights, MN; and R. David Luketic (Marie) of San Antonio, TX, grandchildren, Tammy Reedy, Ralph Luketic, Kimberly Lindseth, Emily Ellis (Chris), Jenna Soucia; and great-granddaughter, Callie Luketic.

George Luketic passed away on 9/3/2019 in San Antonio, TX
George joined the CID in 1965. He retired as a Sergeant Major around 1982. He later worked as a Special Investigator at USAA.

September 16,2019 at 11:30 at the
St John Neumann Catholic Church
6680 Crestway DR, San Antonio, TX 78239.
A luncheon at the church will follow the service.
Burial will be at 2:30 PM, Sept 16, 2019 at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach RD, San Antonio, TX 78209
