May God bless and be with Phil, who is now with his loving wife once again, his family and dear friends, and as I was, the many who were impacted in a positive way by his life. It was an honor knowing you and I thank you so very much for your service. May you now rest in heavenly peace, Sir!

CID Special Agent Philip J. McGuire, CW4 (Retired). CW4 McGuire served in the CID from 1976-1993 when he retired but continued his service as Polygraph Director at CRC, and was appointed as Director of CRC in 1996 until his retirement in 2011. CW4 McGuire had a long and hard fought battle with cancer, but sadly passed away last night at Walter Reed Medical Center surrounded by his family. Rest in Peace Chief.

    Pauline and Phil McGuire

Originally from Medford, Oregon, Phil (67) was an accomplished professional and very highly thought of in his chosen field. Career Army all the way, MP for 20+ years in the states, Vietnam, Korea, Europe, and the Middle East.

Among his many awards, the Legion of Merit, and 7 Meritorious Service Medals

Phil retired a few years ago not long after he lost his wife Pauline to cancer as well. Pauline passed on 10 Dec 2015.

An avid Corvette owner, his two favorites were his 2000 highly modified silver convertible with a ProCharger, and his current silver Z06 convertible.
