Great investigator. Mr. Bagwell was one of my instructors at there CID basic course, Fort Gordon circa 1969.

Jacquline Bagwell



Jacquline Bagwell, 85, wife of 69 years to Johnny Walker Bagwell, entered into rest Sunday, May 6, 2018, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Keith Cox and Reverend John Donaldson officiating.

Interment will be follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bagwell, daughter of the late Eugene Haskell Adkins and Bernice Odell Cassell Adkins, was born in Easley, SC. She was a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church for fifty years and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class and the Christine Scott Circle. She worked for Professional Polygraph Services for ten years and then retired from the Augusta Chronicle Classified Department after ten years.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Bagwell; and her sisters, Katherine A. Gunter, and Gwen Vaughn.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Julie M. Bagwell, of Augusta; and Pamela Pyles (Don), of Jacksonville, FL, her sister, Caroline Larke, of Easley, SC; her grandchildren, Stevi Shaw (Patrick), Steven Cody Bagwell (Evelyn), Ashley Cornelius, Marc Cornelius (Stacy), and Tracy Miller (Geoff); and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 9, 2018, from 2:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.

NOTE: Some will remember that Johnny Bagwell was an instructor at the school.
