SGM Horst Lindenberg was an outstanding soldier, agent, and NCO. I was blessed by his mentorship when I assumed CIS duties at Fort Dix. He was a good man. Thanks for everything Horst...

Horst Lindenberg made a significant and lasting contribution to the CID Agent family when he served as the principal enlisted staff member of the Policy, Plans, and Training team during a critical period of the history of USACIDC. He was instrumental in our development of the CIS position and duties as we transitioned from TDA to a TOE force structure. The transition, while not welcomed by all, was necessary to the preservation of the organization in the Army's force structure and has served us well through the years since it was implemented. I found him to have been an excellent staff member and advisor on the perspectives of the enlisted agents. My sincere condolences to his wife and family, BG (ret) Tom Jones
