Donald P. Hirte (SFC, US Army Ret.) Age 73, passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2016, after a battle with cancer. A career soldier and CID agent, Don retired at Ft. Lewis in 1980 and was a long time resident of Lakewood, WA. In retirement he enjoyed photography and had a love of traveling across the country several times.

Don is survived by his wife Masae, son Michael, daughter Lisa and three grandchildren; Ryan Landon and Meagan, his sister, Barbara and brother Ron.
