Don passed away on Wednesday night. Don spent most of his CID career in the crime lab. He served in CID crime labs from 1964 to 1979. He retired from the Army after 21 years. After he retired from the FDLE, he worked as a private examiner for a number of years. Don trained the person who trained me as a document examiner, so I always considered him my grandfather in the profession. He will be missed. His obituary can be found at http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/timesunion/obituary.aspx?n=don-quinn&pid=166171445&fhid=11097#fbLog gedOut.
