Victor D Reinhardt, 90, affectionately and lovingly known as "Pop," passed away in Garden City, SC on 25 November 2009. Services were held on 2 December in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Dr Donald F West officiated. Burial followed in Woodridge Memorial Park. Mr Reinhardt was predeceased by his wife of 29 years, Dorothy Black Reinhardt. He was born in Le Sueur, Minnesota, the son of the late Henry Reinhardt and Irene Delzer Reinhardt. He served in the U S Army for 29 years and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer Two. He was awarded the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star while in Europe during World War II. Mr Reinhardt retired from his second career with the Department of Youth Services. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his sons, Henry (Laura) Reinhardt of Monroe, MI, and Gary Reinhardt of River Oaks, TX; a daughter, Deborah (Randy) Knotts; stepsons, Joey Black, Tony Black, and Rodney Black; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
