In addition to his wife, Pauline A (Hardt) Wilson, John is survived by numerous children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a foster parent to 103 Catholic Social Services children; a brother to Constance Rohrbach and Sister Michel Teresa, S.S.N.D. and Mary Boehmer of Sacred Heart Church, Florissant, MO. He was also "an uncle, cousin and friend" to many. He retired after 45 years with the phone company and was a member of Communication Workers of America. He was a member of the Police Officers Association, the CID Agents Association, and the National Campers & Hikers Association of America. He was a Director and Instructor at the American Red Cross. His CID service was with the 12th and 22d CID Units during WW II. He left the 12th as a Sergeant on 15 January 1947. A Mass was held at Sacred Heart Church on 9 October followed by interment in the J B National Cemetery. Memorials to St Vincent DePaul Society of Sacred Heart Church or to the American Cancer Society.

John passed away on 4 October 2009. Additional information, if available, will be posted ASAP. Condolences to his wife, Pauline, and family at the address on page 137 of your Gold Books.
