It's a sad day as the CID family faces the loss of another superstar. Gary was the epitome of a professional special agent and leader. A great teacher, coach and mentor to so many of us, he leaves a legacy that will endure. Rest in peace old friend; you made a difference and will be missed by all.

Sadden by this news. I agree totally with what Steve has said here as we both have an early history with Gary dating back to 1972 at Mannheim Field Office. A true CID hero and legend. One of my early mentors. My deepest and most sincere condolences to Sherry and the Price family. Rest in Peace old friend -- you've earned it. We certainly will miss you!!!

Gary’s passing will leave a void in many lives. He was a great friend, a most professional leader and CID Agent. It was so great that he was nominated for the CID Hall of Fame before his passing. We wish his family all the best during these trying times. May he now rest in peace. Vaya con Dios mi Amigo,

Gary was a hard guy not to like. He touched the lives of many people and maintained a positive attitude through much adversity. Never served with Gary but always have considered him a good friend and comrade.
