Services are expected to last about 15 minutes and will start at 12:30 PM. Friends and family are to gather at the Public Information Center at noon. That's 13 August, Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. Gail stated that they have no idea who will attend but "Clayton would appreciate anyone who cared enough to take the time to attend, especially his old CID friends."

WO Clayton Dean arrived at Ft Benning CID in 1966 as a newbie from the Air Force and I was responsible for his 60 day initial efficiency report in which he was rated outstanding as investigator and superior in all other attributes. He did not drink alcohol but was accepted by his peers because of his demeanor in all situations, professional and socially. His loyalty to CIDAA was obvious since he drove his RV to most meetings when his health did not interfere. His family's loss is CIDAA's loss. I am proud to have known and served with Clay DEAN. R.I.P. friend. Elmer (Al) and Dottie Miller
