Francis Julian Watkins, 77, of the Rainey Community in Moselle, MS, passed away on 29 April 2012.

Mr. Watkins graduated from Moselle High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. He retired from Wausau Insurance Company as Senior Certified Safety Consultant, and was also retired from the National Guard and the Army Reserve as a Chief Warrant Officer Four, CID. He was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church, and was always ready to help anyone in need. He loved the outdoors, gardening, and mechanics.

His parents, Mike and Agnes Watkins and a sister, Jane Storey preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen S. Watkins of Moselle; sons, Raymond (Gloria) Watkins of Moselle and Craig (Kim) Watkins of Pelahatchie; daughters, Beverly (Rickey) Richardson of Moselle, and Karen (Byron) Switzer of Mendenhall; his sister, Nelda (Joe) Ulmer of Jackson; brother, John Willard (Robbie) Watkins of Satellite Beach, FL; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
