CW2 (Ret) Boyd W "Woody" WOOTEN, age 83, of Gahanna, OH was called home to God on 29 October 2009. Woody was preceded in death by the love of his life June E Wooten; his mother Susie Schillinger and his father Theodore Wooten. He honored our country with his services in the Navy from 1942-1946 and Army from 1947-1964. He retired from the Army as a CW2 in the CID and went on to retire from Nationwide Insurance as a claims adjuster in 1985. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of VFW Post #4719. He served in WWII and the Korean War. Funeral services were held on 4 November 2009, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery.
