My colleague was in my thoughts a few minutes ago and wondered what ever happened to him after we parted ways after Desert Storm. I googled his name and found out sadly that he died on 12/8/2011. I remembered he retired out of Ft Riley, KS as a Sergeant Major, but lost track of him.
He was my 1SG at Ft Hood, TX; then caught up with him in Desert Storm. . . So we minus one more in our unit manning report. He is not reportable on another report. May God continue to bless the Travers family.
