I knew LTC Yaussy in the 54th MP Co, Ft Ord, CA, and later as a company commander at the Defense Foreign Language Institute in 1981. He was a credit to the MP Corps.

LTC (ret) Mack J Yaussy, MPC of Herndon, VA died on Monday 24 March 2008. Among the survivors are his wife, Linda S Yaussy; sons Kevin (Allison), Brian (Amber) and Jason (Sara) Yaussy. Adams Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA, is in charge. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Thursday 24 April 2008 at Arlington National Cemetery.
