Edward A Spohn, age 89, died at his home in Orange Park, FL on 30 November 2010. He was born on 29 September 1921 in Los Angeles, CA. As a young man, Edward was interested in the military and enlisted in the Army for World War II. He married the former Peggy O'Neal on 27 January 1945. He retired as a CID Special Agent, Chief Warrant Officer 4, after 27 years of service to his country. Throughout his life, Edward dedicated himself to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Among the survivors are his wife of 65 years, Peggy; a son, Colonel Edward (Ned) Spohn, III (retired) and a daughter, Sharon Tucker. A memorial service was held at the Church of the Good Samaritan, Anglican, 3183 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL on 8 January 2011.
