I need to see a birth certificate. The guy just had a kid a couple of years ago. Last I heard he was still involved in pugilism. Can't believe all you "school trained investigators" are falling for the "81" line.

Belaaaaaaated Birthday wishes, Chief. (I could've waited a few more months and wished you a Happy 81st, but why wait to bless someone.(Have I been away from this website that long???) I want to thank you for accepting me into the program in 1981 and selecting Jim Trefftzs to be my senior partner during my probbie year. The highlight of that time was learing how to pinch tobacco, and swallowing the juice instead of spitting. "You better swallow it boy, don't you spit." I must be the only Japanese-American . . . the only Japanese in the world, who can pinch/chew and not spit. I "learnt" that from Jim and Copperas Cove Police Chief Bob McDonald (Ret CID). BUT I can still spit and hit a sitting dog (LOL). Thanks for the memories, Chief. (LOL)

Bill, guess you're closer to 81 than 80 now, but happy belated 80th. I think of you often and hope you are doing well. In my book, you and Steve Volk should be the next Hall of Famers.

Happy belated birthday, Chief. I thought you were close to 80 when I worked for you. None-the-less, working for you at Yongsan was my greatest assignment. However, I think I have arthritis in my right shoulder from you constantly punching me there.

Way to go, Bill!! I have heard it said that "the good die young". This being true, I'm thinking that you and I and Flip and Jim Boyd ought to be around for a long, long, time.

Bill, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to you. I also wanted to thank you for the time we spent together in Korea back in the day. You were a great Operations Officer and you are a good friend. One of these days when I am traveling through FL, I'll stop by for a brew. You take care my friend and I wish you many more.

First of all I want to thank OJ for posting this notice about my birthday and then I thank all of you that have responded with your wishes and other comments. It means a lot to an old **** like me to hear from his brother agents.

Another Octogenarian in our midst, including myself. Those of you who correspond with Bill, as
I do, received a very informative message about his upbringing and lifelong service to the US Army, The CID and to our great country. Happy Birthday Bill, stay well and many happy returns of the day. Carl
