James "Jim" Patrick Muench
James P. Muench, 65, of Louisville, passed away suddenly in February 2015 while on vacation in Ft. Myers Beach, FL.
Devoted and Loving husband of Eileen (née Horn), proud and adored brother of Joseph (Dianne), Don (Sissy), Steve, Lola (Ed) and Charles Kammer. A favorite Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents Frank, Agnes and his step father Ralph Kammer.
Jim served in the military as a CID Agent in Korea during the Vietnam Era. He retired as an optician from Lens Crafters but his real passion was for music. Jim performed in the Louisville bands Magna IV, Brothers Pride, Louisville, and Muench Bros.
After signing with Dick Clark Productions, they continued as Muench touring across the country opening for The Osmonds, Bee Gees, and Andy Gibb. In retirement Jim continued to compose, record and perform with his brothers and fellow musicians. He will be truly missed by his loving family and friends who are confident he's playing "For a Song" in heaven.
His kindness and generosity will live forever in our hearts.
